Friday

19:00 h. Public opening session of the 18th San Isidro Fair.

21:00 h. Medieval dinner held in the Main Square.

23:00 h. Rock concert held in the Moros Vells Social Club, organised by the Town Council.

Saturday

12:00 h.  Official opening session of the San Isidrom Fair by local authorities with a walk round the streets where the Fair is held.

13:45 h. Press conference.

14:00 h. Gastronomic tasting offered by "Nou Trinquet" restaurant, opposite the Diputación stand.

22:15 h. Amazing firework show through the streets mleading from the Convent to the Church.

00:00 h. Party for young people held in the Moros Vells Social Club, organised by the Town

Council.

Sunday

12:30 h. Presentation of a commemorative souvenir to all the participants in the 18th San Isidro Fair.

14:00 h. Spectacular firework display held in front of the Cultural Centre building in Castalla, organised by the Ferrández Pyrotechnics Company from Redovan.

22:30 h.  The official closing ceremony of the 18^th San Isidro Fair.

Medieval Market activities Programme

Friday

21:00 h. Medieval's dinner Come to the Main Square in Castalla and taste roast beef in the purest medieval style. For 3 euros you get a plate with a beef fillet steak, wine and bread. Saturday

Saturday

12:00 h. Inauguration with street theatre mOpening speech by the company A Traspiés.

13:00 h. Jesters The Jesters will liven up the atmosphere with their juggling... Loads of fun and joy.

14:00 h. Street theatre demonstrating circus techniques.

18:00 h. Street theatre and theatre and circus performances.

19:00 h. Arabesque Knife-throwers from the Orient, dancing to the sound of music... Oriental party.

20:00 h. Street theatre and circus and theatre performances.

22:15 h. Correfocs In the dark of the night, torches light up the squares. Music sounds throughout the streets. Let souls come to life...

Sunday

12:00 h. Los cómicos Comedians Street theatre

13:00 h. Theatre and circus performances A hungry comedian family will show us how to stuff themselves, using funny and risky skills.

18:00 h. Street theatre through the market, juggling

and acrobatics.

21:00 h. Fire display to end the fair.

Activities, shows and exhibitions organised during the Fair

Espai Lúdic workshop area

Workshops for everybody. Here you will be able to make thematic manual crafts: Recycling, environmental issues, culture and so on.

Gymkhana Area

Playing zone with several areas offering lots of different games. Players will be able to choose from traditional games, ability games, logical games or knowledge games, depending on their age and tastes.

Bouncy games area

JUMPING CASTLE:

Here the youngest children can have a good time jumping and playing in a safe and controlled space.

PLAYING FIELD:

Bouncy track with lots of different sports accessories, such as baskets, goals, nets and balls. Younger children can play short games controlled by a specialized instructor.

TIMETABLE:

• Friday afternoon: 7 - 8 pm.
• Saturday and Sunday:

Morning: 11 am - 1:30 pm.

Afternoon: 5 - 9 pm.

Espai Moto

In this San Isidro Fair you will find a space for the world of motorbikes. Stands,

exhibitions and DJs playing live music. The strong point will be offered by the exhibitions of Stund motorbikes, which will offer us an amazing performance. Stund exhibition timetable:

Saturday: 12:30 pm. and 7:00 pm.

Sunday: 12:30 pm. and 6:00 pm.

Exhibitions at alicante regional government stand

Come to the Alicante Regional Government Stand and look at a very interesting exhibition;

'People and traditions of our town'.

Traders' Association Marquee

For their second year, the Traders' Association of Castalla joins the San Isidro Fair. Visit us in the Marquee located in Horta La Vila street and see a sample of our products. The Traders' Association of Castalla understands that the Fair is an opportunity to boost the local trade, very important for the sustainability of our city. We give strong support to quality and offer our customers service, comfort, personal assistance and after-sales guaranty. Furthermore, this year four more shops have obtained the certificate 'Comerç Excelent', a prize promoted by Valencian Government that guaranties the high quality of the shops. We are the commerce that loves you best.

4th Exhibition of local authors

The painting exhibition of local artists will be opened on Friday 14th at 8 pm in the  Castalla Cultural Centre. Paintings Exhibition where you could admire works with different techniques and styles made by the Castall'Art Association artists.

Casa del Fester exhibitions

In Casa del Fester, the headquarters of the Association of Moors and Christians Comparsas, there will be an exhibition dedicated to themes related to our festivities as well as the winning posters and works of all the contestants of the 19th poster competition and the winners and finalists of the 4th children's drawing competition.

Horses exhibitions

The Castalla Horse Association will delight us during the Fair with exhibitions in several

equestrian displays in the zone located in front of the Maria Asunta school.
